The process begins with a consultation with Oklahoma City facial plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Rhodes, MD, to review your hair restoration goals. At that time, a treatment plan will be developed and a quote for the anticipated cost will be provided to you.

Please note that there is a $75 consultation fee.

For medical treatment, Dr. Rhodes will determine if you are a good candidate for topical or oral medications and will discuss the various treatment options with you.

For minimally invasive procedures, we offer platelet rich plasma injections (PRP). During this process, the patient’s blood is drawn and processed and the plasma that is rich in growth factors is placed into the scalp. This increases the size and number of the patient’s hair follicles.

• Initially, a series of 4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended. (PRP treatment package includes 4 treatments @ $1,800)
• Afterwards, maintenance treatment 1 to 2 times per year is recommended. (Single PRP session w/ no package is $650/treatment)

For surgical hair restoration, Dr. Rhodes performs both the strip method as well as the FUE, or follicular unit extraction method. The FUE method is considered scarless. At the consultation, he will discuss different surgical options.

• The price ranges from ~$4.75 – $6.50 per graft depending on the procedure and area to be treated.
• Specialized hair transplant procedures (such as eyebrow transplants) have separate pricing which can be discussed and quoted at the time of consultation.

The procedure is performed in- office and takes the majority of the day. Patients are comfortable with the use of numbing medication as well as relaxing medication. It takes 6-9 months to see the full results. The transplanted hairs are considered to be permanent. Down time is ~ 2 days. You can start wearing a hat in 4-5 days.
